Factory Tour

Exact Wood Manufacturing Co. Ltd., in southern China, manufactures all of our products under one roof. This way, we have control over all the factors involved in the manufacturing process.

Materials

Exact stocks a large variety of wood species that are stored inside, kept dry and away from external elements. QC inspectors use moisture meters to check for moisture content upon receipt. For additional moisture control, lumber is stored in an equalizer room adjacent to the lumber warehouse.

Production and Equipment

Our facilities include over 1,000,000 sq.ft. of warehousing, office and production space, including a modern state-of-the-art furniture woodworking factory. We have number our major capital-intensive pieces of manufacturing equipment that make our capabilities second-to-none for design excellence and functionality. In our workworking department, Exact Wood currently employs over 1,200 workers and 180 highly skilled carvers. This department layout is designed for meeting the major objectives of maximum production efficiencies and material flow.

Security

Exact Wood has a 24-hour private security force. These trained guards ensure the safety of our employees and work environment.

Quality Control

Our QC managers are at every production station to make sure that products meet customers' requirements and specifications.

Finishing

Our finishing capabilities include two types of finishing lines. The first is electrostatic with a suspended conveyor. This system encom- passes 5,500 linear feet with three disc rooms and twelve paint booths. The second is a floor conveyor, which is 4,500 linear feet and fourteen paint booths. Our close relationship with the experts at Valspar and AKZO combined with our experience in the furniture business allows us to have the best finishing products and the ability to have a matched finish within all groups.

Upholstery

Our capabilities for our fully upholstery line include upholstered sofa, loveseat, chairs, ottoman, benches, dining, and accent chairs. Both fabric and premium leather upholstered products are available. Detailed finishing such as nail head trim, showwood, fringes, and hand carving are also available.

Designer

Exact has a full-time designer on retainer, creating occasional and casual dining collections for qualifying customers. With the assistance of our designer, the customer's merchandising departments, and Exact Wood engineers through computer generated color renderings, drawings, and Autocad detail, we can recommend the most suitable composition for each occasional piece.

Research and Development

All aspects of the marketing and merchandising departments combined together with design engineers to create the finest products at price points that our customers demand. With the latest in computerized CAD system, we are able to offer complete detailed specification drawings that are economical and sound in structure.
